And now, a musical interlude.

by mennodaddy on September 28, 2009

I sing to my son a lot. So this weekend, during a particularly nasty diaper change, I decided to whip out a special song that I remember fondly from the summers of my childhood, watching bad movies with my brother. I’d like to share it with you today.

I mean, okay, it’s not Brahms’ Lullaby. But considering the diaper, it seemed appropriate at the time.

(My parents are probably aghast reading this, wondering when the hell they let my brother and I watch that movie when when we were kids. Hint: we probably never told you.)

I’m sure I never sang that song, nor ever watched that particular movie. And I wholeheartedly dispute all reports to the contrary, at least in public.

Culpable deniability FAIL.

Okay so all I remember is that one of you got the dog and all the other one got was a crummy chicken. Is that what I was supposed to remember? What’s the movie, anyway? (Great diaper song.)
